It's a little bit late but I'd like to fill up my PLACES tab so here goes our little adventure in Disneyland!
Since I was young I enjoyed cartoons and everything adventurous that's why at the age of 23 years old I still enjoy amusement parks and to top that it's Disneyland, the happiest place, of course!
When is the best time to visit Hong Kong Disneyland Resort?
Winter time preferably the month of February. During weekdays. Weekends and holidays aren't ideal due to the population of visitors. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is located near the ocean and yes it gets really humid and hot during the summer and showers in the mid year. Of course you'd like to enjoy your tour without hassles: heat, rain etc. In the month of February the weather is dry and cold - around 10 to 15 degrees Celcius. Cold weather can dry up our throat and skin, so don't forget to bring water with you to keep you hydrated! :)
What is the opening time?
The amusement park is open 10:30 am until 9:00 pm. I think the final parade will be shown at 7:00 pm. Other schedules of parade are listed in the brochure/map when you enter the amusement park.
How much pocket money needed?
Depends on how much you splurge;
Meal - HK$ 150 up
Souvenirs - HK$ 100 up
When we went there we spent around HK$ 300 each for food/snacks. We are a group of 5 so around HK$ 1,500. We didn't intend to buy any souvenirs anyway but I brought an extra HK$ 1000 for myself just in case I needed it.
How much is the ticket/entrance fee for 1-day?
Ages 12 - 64: HK$ 539.00
Ages 3 - 11: HK$ 385.00
Ages 65 up: HK$ 100.00
I advice that you buy your ticket ahead of time to save your time! Probably the line up will be long and hassle for you.
How to get there?
We took the MTR (subway) to get there. From wherever you are the interchange point would be at Central Station.
From Central Station you'll have to ride the subway going to Tung Chung/Disneyland Resort --- you will see signages around the station that will lead you to the right subway.
You'll have to get off on Sunny Bay Station and ride the personalized train going to Hong Kong Disneyland!

Disneyland is truly a magical place!
