Your boyfriend popped the question, what's next?

Of course, you'll have to realize if you are in fact at the right age for marriage. Youngsters that are 21 years old below needs parents/guardian's consent before getting married. They will have to sign the waiver/document as proof that they allow their child to get married in a young age. You need to check what documents you already have and what else to get, where to get it and how to get it. Upon checking the requirements. You'll have to decide which of the three do you want to settle on.

To be able to get married you will need to apply for a Marriage License.

Since I am born abroad my NSO Birth Certificate is a "Report of Birth" along my personal information. If you are born in the Philippines the title should be: "Certificate of Live Birth" You can get your certificate at your local NSO office. As we came from Muntinlupa city, our local NSO office is located at the 3rd floor, Star Mall, Alabang.

*Baptismal Certificate differs in layout depending on the church where you were baptized. Baptismal Certificate and Confirmation Certificate is only needed for Catholic church wedding. You can disregard this requirement if you plan on having a Civil or Christian wedding.
